Will your accommodation proof be accepted?

Low risk
The form of proof consulates expect by default. Check the dates and names line up with the application.
Attach to your file
- Signed lease naming you (and your household) as tenants
- Proof the landlord communicated the lease to the tax office (Finanças)
- Landlord's identification or NIF on the contract
- Lease start date on or before your planned arrival
Watch out: Signing before the visa is decided commits you to rent. Read the termination terms before you sign.
